Watima is MIT-licensed software. This website explains the project. It does not sell a device, take a payment, or open an account.
What you are using
The repository has the firmware, the Firebase function, and the parent dashboard. You deploy them on your own project and flash your own board. A parent pairs a device from that dashboard, sets the child's age, and can read or delete the questions stored there.
What it is not
- Not a product for sale. There is no price, no reservation, and no token to buy.
- Not always right. Answers come from a language model and can be wrong or out of date.
- Not an emergency device. It cannot call anyone, it does not know where a child is, and it only works on the Wi-Fi you give it.
- Not a supervisor. It answers a question and stops.
Your data
Questions stay in the database of the project you run, for as long as that project's memory setting keeps them. See the privacy note. This website does not receive them.
The license
The software is provided as-is, under the MIT license in the repository. There is no warranty. You are responsible for the project you deploy, the model you call, and the child who uses a device you pair.
